Supporting the local movie industry

Good Day

I watched Gubra yesterday!
By far and wide the best Malaysian made movie i've ever seen. Although the movie takes a less polished route from Sepet it came out tops in its own right. While we may not make movie like hollywood in terms of refinement, we sure do make them in depth.

What i really liked about the movie is how racial issues are addressed and society at large. Gubra spins off from the love story between 2 individuals that was Sepet to a love story of one another.

Really captivating if you ask me. And i highly reccomend buying the original vcd when its out=)

Have a Nice day then.
Need to rush off to church now.

Do you want that in return?

Good Day..

One of the principles that i've always kept throughout the years may come across as simple yet extremely profound. Sometime back in my old church whereby the former youth pastor asked what was the golden rule of the bible that i learnt this principle. How it has stuck with me till now.

"Do unto others what you want other to do unto you".

I was just thinking about it in college.

Once my mom was watching The Apprentice and was relating to me an incident on it whereby another group masqueraded as another to get the microphones required to complete their task when the other group were the ones who had placed the order. Rather then frown upon it, Donald Trump actually applauded them for their quick thinking.

You know, it's really just so easy to think about everything from your own perspective. To get or to do anything for your own benefit is always a justified act in your eyes and to a certain extent the world's eyes.

Donald Trump likens such actions as "it's not personal, it's just business".

But do we stop and ponder, what would it be like if we were on the receiving end of such actions. Would you be happy? Sure it's business you may say, but at the end of the day what do you gain? More money? another deal? Fame?

Something i learned a couple of years back at CG Retreat was to write the inscriptions on your own tomb stone. That really opened my eyes. You'd never see a tombstone glorifying a person's success in making money but rather the person as a human being to everybody else.

Sean Convey in his book "The seven habits of highly effective people" thought us to "Think Win-Win". What it meant was always ensure there were no losing sides in anything. Because if you thought "Win-Lose", either way you'd still lose.

Just a passing shot; If you can do it to him, he can do it to you too.

Have A Nice Day.

To BE or Not to BE..

Good Day

I've always admired people with great blogs. Makes me wish i had their computing skills to make such eye catching sites. But then again, its never really been my forte this designing and programming business. I guess i'm just too lazy to learn.

Sometimes i wonder, what if i actually decided to pursue such a path. What if i really put effort into being all creative and stuff. Would it be different for me?

...I think it would.

You know how people always tell you to pursue a dream and don't give up till you get there. It's very much easier said then done. It takes courage i can assure you. Or maybe simplicity of mind.

After all, success is how you yourself wish to measure it. I can be a struggling painter, yet feel accomplished that i'm at least a painter for example. How i wish i could think like that. I admire people who manage to follow their dreams and live it all the way but sometimes i wonder how it would've been like starting out for them. How they dealt with the pressure and the like. I liken pursuing your dreams to taking a gamble. For every success story we hear about, how many others have failed along the way pursuing their dream?

You never hear of these failures. We never glorify failures. Thats what we're thought about. But y'know, what we perceive a failure may in fact be to that person an accomplishment. After all, how many of us can testify to having lived our dream? The apparent failure might just smile to himself after falling and say, 'At least i gave it a shot... now i won't die thinking what might have been if i took the other route'.

That to me is what it's all about. To be able to live without regrets. You never know until you've tried, but the point is do we dare to take that gamble? Do we dare to leave our comfort zone to put our future on the line?

I know i don't. Till now months after enrolling myself into Uni and i still doubt the choice i've taken. Sure, the property outlook is pretty bright and you'd never really go wrong with business in general. But seriously, thats the real problem isn't it?

I don't believe going through mid way and then push the reset button and start all over again. I don't believe in wasted time doing a particular course. It's just added knowledge you're getting. Not really your interest but knowledge nonetheless. I like to believe that if the door is opened and others aren't that really there's a purpose for you in there. But i can't help but play the what if game.

Shu-Wen has over the past few months aired her concern that the course i'm taking may not necessarily be the best for me in terms of my interest. And to an extent she's spot on. I've never really placed myself inside an office or looking at numbers. To be honest, i've never felt really at home with it. I've always like the idea stressing my brain to no end with whatever creative ideas that is required of me, i like colours, pictures, and the like. I love speaking in public! i really do..

But somehow i've always been afraid to venture out into the creative field. To add insult to the injury the course i'm taking would effectively rule me out of having any form of participation in the advertising indsutry unlike my sister who despite taking accounting and finance can still jump into account servicing. I guess, i'll have to finally close off that entire option completely for now.

To put what i'm doing currently to what i would like to do on a scale would eventually lead to a balancing act really. I can't tear them apart. Both have so much of something that i really love. You should guess as much by now that security and position matter to me.

Yea, and everybody will say i'm materialistic. Say that to me and i can only hang my head low and nod. I am materialistic. I admit it, it's somethin that started a long time within me that was built up over time this desire to be famous and sorts. I won't go into details, but its something Shu-Wen knows and tries to change me to know end. Can't blame her and i'm really grateful for her that she tries and constantly ensures that i'm kept on the right track,

Frankly i know whatever i was talking about would ultimately be left for me to figure out on my own. Then again, make that somethin for GOD to reveal to me.

Anyways, on the bright side of things i really can't find any superlatives to describe what Shu-Wen is to me. How she tirelessly ensures tha my off centre sense of humour and dreams are kept in check. She's really a god send=)

She's even got me to read the bible with her every night! What i ever do without her?

Have a Nice Day everyone.

Janitor Class 101

Good Day.

I woke up late for the second time in a row today. How wonderful, and it had to be economics class that morning. Y'know i never knew i'd be experiencing so much trouble with econs, but to score 15.3/20 is plain lousy for me at least. So it's 2 D's and 1 solitary HD. I'm upset if you compare it to Sean's 3 HD. Oh well... I need to study harder then.

Anyways, it was typically sluggish today at college. Dragged myself around, played pool, and forgot to study Law so i was pretty much blank during tutorials which made the class sucky cause...i don't like being stupid!! (right... now who does anyways)

I actually hoped to study abit since i had 4 hours to kill before my drum class. How productive those 4 hours were. I ended up talking, eating, oh and yea..going to 'sociology class' as the janitor put it. Haha,..i think Kirsty would have enjoyed such sociology class.

Allow me to share with you the insights into A Janitor's Sociology Class.

Lesson #1
Everything is about Sex (I swear! this is what he said!).
Why?
Because everybody does everything for it. He went on to say, It's a common fact that indian women are constantly beaten by their husband but yet you never here of them asking for a divorce. The reason for this is because of the sex. And partly cause majority of them fail to take care of their bodies after giving birth.

Lesson #2
A Deal involves Sex, Alchohol, and Cigarettes.
Why?
He didn't elaborate, but i figure he's been inlfuenced by the chinese from China as shown on TV maybe? But you get the picture.

Lesson #3
Men should lead double lives to get more Sex. This is closely tied with his first theory.
Why?
Picture this. A man will tell his Wife, "Honey, i'm gonna go out to do business!" and so he goes. The men will subsequently subscribe to lesson#3 and thus sex is part of the deal. Once he enjoys his share of the 'deal', the man goes home to his wife and says "Honey, i've closed the deal!" and he subsequently gets sex from his overjoyed wife as well.

Lesson #4
Men's 'weapon' enhancing techniques.
I won't go into details here. It's Just wrong (not that the other lessons aren't to begin with).

Lesson #5 (the final lesson)
There's a difference in which a man treats his girl before and after marriage.
In his words:

"Sebelum kahwin suka tak suka pun cakap suka, lepas kahwin..take suka boleh kasi pukul sama dia".

I know what you're probably thinking. Yes, it is wrong. I'm just telling this out of amusement sake i don't under any circumstances encourage such lesson of life so to speak. It's merely a janitor's point of view. And he spoke all there while providing Sean with an endless supply 'kretek'.

Anyways,

Remember how hot news of a couple in KL who were caught for kissing and hugging in public? And how the Judge argued that such actions was deemed indecent to the public in respect to the culture of Malaysia?

It created such a sensation didn't it? but here's the read deal.. you've got a couple who were merely kissing and hugging in KLCC park and a huge outcry ensued. And yet, with all the sensation surrounding this issue whereby the plaintiff now seeks to clarrify the definition of indecent i stumbled upon a couple ho doing it in bright day light yesterday on my way out of college.

Similarly, it was done in a park. But this time it wasn't just hugging and kissing.. The male was right on top of the female getting on with it in broad daylight! Such things should be outlawed! If this doesn't push the limit of indecensy i don't what else will satisfy that term. Although grainy, i managed to get a picture of the couple in the midst of it. And darn was the male a hairy one. wanna see the picture?

There! the 'couple' in action. Terrible right?

My goodness, the couple's nerve and mighty hairy too.

Forgive me for the rather inappropriate post.

Have a Nice Day.

House Crashers

23rd April came and went.

What a day it had been. Althought it started just like every other day, it ended most splendidly. wait come to think of it...the 2 really great memories of my birthday came before and after the 23rd. First on the 22nd it was a really great experience playing at Gig Night, Starbucks Taipan and subsequently adjourning to Pizza Uno for some of the greatest friends i've ever met!

The rest of my birthday itself went on in a rather mundane fashion but it was time spent with the family nonetheless although my sister was in Singapore. In the evening Marc was asking loads of questions about what time i might be back at night and what time i needed to pick my sister up. T'was rather nice thinking he wanted to take me out for dinner. Then it was Adrian's turn to act funny. He kept calling my house phone at 12+ am? Asking the most 'relevant' questions. Finally he got what he wanted when my sister picked up the phone. No he wasn't trying to hit on her.

Next thing i knew the front door flew open and few very familiar heads popped. Although a couple of minutes late it was really cool. They came bringing a cake and made me pull the candle out with my mouth. Oh and made me make speeches to my parents and all. But it was all fun.

To Adrian, Sean, Tim, Marco Soo, Derek, Thee Khye, Anish ( is tht how you spell it?) 'Cricket' Kumar, and not forgetting Marc Chow!! Thank You!! You guys really made my Day. Surprisingly my parents didn't hear all your vulgarity/cum talk/ and Klang talk wei!

Memories of the before and the after my birthday.

Sean 'Slides' with Cross Advertisement!

Jared!! Wished me today and still justified that you're sincere! haha, Jokin.

Bass Player, Singer, Band Mate, Makan kaki, and Best Friend!

Drum Solo on 'The Chicken' yo! haha...

Yeah...It was speech time! They made me stand on the chair with the 7up bottle as a mic!

I'm very disturbed by what Adrian is doing to me...

And you think this sorta thing only happens to the females..

All in all, I sincerely couldn't have asked for anything more from all you guys who made it such a special day.

Thank You. I really appreciate it.

Have a Nice Day=)

Cross Advertisement

I finally turn 19 today.

I don't feel different. Should I?

Yesterday was brilliant. The gig at Starbucks went well. A few teething problems but i'm happy with the general performance and the crowd was awesome. Then again, having a healthy number of people you know in the crowd is always a good thing=) From Danker cheering the corwd on to Kirsty and jacq's groupie screaming antics. Oh and Pravin screaming my name. That made me feel good. I'm not gonna lie about that...haha

All in all, our dynamics were good and we were allot tighter that we originally thought we were. Quite frankly, we arrived really low on confidence. We were literally so nervous. When the group next to us came with their equipment all ready with Iron Cobra pedals and a custom snare, i seriously didn't wanna play no more. Once Sound check began all our worries went away. Thank God! We were the only band playing funk in the form of jaco's Funky Chicken and low-mellow rock songs from Goo Goo Dolls and The Calling. The others went for those growling hardcore songs. My solo was really too short and i kept missing my cowbell. Oh well..

All in all, Really big THANK YOU TO ALL THOSE THAT WERE THERE SUPPORTING US. Thanks MO for dropping by!

More Importantly, THANK GOD FOR GIVING US ALL WE NEEDED TO PERFORM OUR TALENTS AND OUR LIVES.

Last but not least, To My bandmates at CROSS ADVERTISEMENT, Marc, Sean, and Jared. You guys rock! Greater things to come!

Well Gig Night at Starbucks didn't just end that way. many things followed like how MPSJ stormed the places and raided the equipments with all sorts of excuses. I'll fill you in on it once i get the full picture.

But for me the night didn't just end there as well.

Headed down to Pizza Uno for dinner with the greatest bunch! Thank You so much Aaron, Kirsty, Josh, CK, Ghee, Fai, Kwee, Eugene, and Shu Shuen. I really appreciate it!

Thanks for the presents and dinner=) You guys are the best.

Thanks Eugene and Shu Shuen for the Evo ride=) I wanna ride again! haha..

To all that wished me, Thank You so much as well. You guys mean allot to me!

I'll put up a proper post as soon as i get pictures aaight? For now..here's one i ripped from Josh.

Have a Nice Day. It's My Birthday It HAS to be Nice=)

C.P.R needed.

Does the sidebar appear below?

If so.., How do i bring it back up?

Much help is appreciated=)

When I Grow Up...

Good Day.

I was driving down the Kesas like i would normally do since Kota Kemuning is smacked right next to it yesterday for band practice and somethin caught my attention as i slowed to take the slip road onto the Jln Kewajipan.

No it wasn't a nice car, a stack of cash on the road but rather a lone indian man who sat on the curb. I know its somethin you'll see everyday and not something for you to actually be bothered with but here was a man dressed in orange overalls (indicating he a maintenance guy for the highway company) tightening the strings around his broom.

What i find really moving is that this is probably the most overlooked job anyone of us has ever known. But to see someone tightening up his broom just to ensure his job is done right says something. You might argue he was probably up to no good... but from my point of view, what he was (or..what i thought he was doing) is commendable in the sense that he's actually doing the best to his capabilities but does anybody actually share a thought for this people?

I realised that instead of saying what great assets these people are, our culture has instead thought us to shun these people. I remember once when i was at an open house and one of the host's neighbours casually indicated tht he's never since a particular indian man around the house to the son of the host. The son answered rather candidly, "He's the gardener. Why? Do you feel like having a conversation with him?". The neighbour shuddered a no and laughed it off.

That caught my attention. Since when is it a peculiar/weird/unheard of/uncommon/ unbelievable/ (whatever words you may like to add) thing to talk to someone who is a road sweeper, a gardener, or anyone you'd categorize in the like as a friend?

I blame this on our upbringing. Our culture.

No seriously, think about it. When we were young we were always asked in school by our teachers. "What do you wanna be when you grow up?" Many of us without a flicker of thought would scream, Doctor, Lawyer, Architects or to a certain extent Policeman, Fireman, and...er Pro Wrestler? Usually after the usual suspects of being a professionals are unearthed, the teacher would subsequently ask, "and why do you wanna be a (insert ambition here)?" The reply would always be the same, i wanna help save lives! protect the innocent! or kill the bad guys... right(in a sense, it is still a good thing...i think?).

Lets think about this for a momment. Do these road sweepers, rubbish collectors, and the like contribute less or help society less then the aforementioned professionals? Without them, we'd be living in a dump. How many of us would want to stoop to cleaning our neighbours mess if these people weren't existent? The fact is, a very small minority. Maybe thats the point, we are all too filled with pride to acknowledge the importance or even show gratitude for the work this people are doing.

But that isn't the point. Didn't i mention its in our culture?

I remember whenever i did badly in a test in my younger days my mom would say, "See! Didn't study... so how now? if you can't study you'll end up being a road sweeper or a garbage collector." Please tell me i'm not the only one? But i'm not! teachers in school used to throw out this exact same phrase although in BM ("Nah, tu dia takde belajar betul betul... lain kali buat ape? Pengutip Sampah? Pencuci Longkang?") . Do you see my point? We've been led to believe that there's nothing worst then being a garbage collector, a road sweeper, or a drain cleaner and that if we didn't performed up to mark, or rather societies idea of what is successfull we'd end up as one of them.

Maybe, its basic instincts settling in. If it hurts, stay away from it. Maybe thats why we disregard this group, maybe thats why we fail to credit this group enough.

The fact is, this group deserve the very same footing as everyone of us. They are like us, humans like us. They too, despite societies image of them work hard to keep themself alive and keeping society chugging along in the background doing the best they can.

However, if you looked really hard nowadays, most of these workers are increasingly made up of foreign workers. It means the number of locals taking such jobs are in decline. Interestingly, the number of VCD/DVD sellers are on the rise and these are primarily made up of locals. I guess its the best alternative. A job above the unthinkable job as we've been thought maybe?

I guess, a loophole has been found!

Have a Nice Day.

P.S. I'm probably no better then anyone of you at acknowledging this ppl. Heck, i even litter (Shu-Wen testifies to this) but theres always a start=)

Why did the chicken cross the road?

...because it was humiliated.

Yesterday was the first time Jared, Marc, Sean, and I got to together as a band to jam since forming the band. It was a rather candid affair to say the least but productive nonetheless. At 4:30 we trotted into the jam studio for a supposedly 90 minute jam, but thanks to poor mathematics by the guy at the counter we were given to hours for the price of 90 minutes. A good deal=)

And thus our (still nameless) band went off on the first song we intend to play at Starbucks Taipan on Gig Night, Casting Crowns's Who Am I. We played it to a more mellowed down simple affair cutting back on the ferocious mid sections. Jared opens this song with a guitar intro to substitute the piano and a great job he's done on it. Marc Vocals on this, a slight tendency to run off key but it should be alright in time.

Song 2 would be Slide by Goo Goo Dolls. This song subsequently unearthed the singing talents of Sean Phuah! Woah.. Good voice, good strumming, and minus the cum talk and you get a rock star! I admit i had some trouble on this song cause i couldn't hear what Sean was singing. The jamming Studio's equipment is a let down=( Overall this song too went well.

Things are looking up well for the band.

The third song...

Well, you might struggle to even call it a song but its more of a jam then anything. But Marc intends to play it nonetheless. We'll see how tmrw. This song is basically based on the late Jaco Pastorius's Funky Chicken. Wait, LOOSELY based on Jaco's piece.

Allow me to clue you in on this song called 'Marc's Chicken (he calls it My Chicken so...you get the picture)' A drum intro preceeds the bass for this. The bass rhythm is basically carried on for the rest of the song. again, its a watered down version of Jaco's. 2 rounds into the song and Jared launches into the first solo of the song. He pulls out an explosive blues scale to open up the intro before the band rejoins for another 2 rounds and Klang Boy Sean hits off on a mind blowing solo. And he was all modest about the whole idea. Do not believe a Klang Boy when he says he doesn't know jack shit about playing a guitar. My drum solo comes in next. A pretty lousy one if you ask me personally but heck its all i know how to do? But then again, its a free solo you can't tell me its wrong! haha... wish i could play phrased solo's but my superb timing is a real stumbling block=( after the solo's, a another round or two and the songs closses. *clap *clap *clap

Oh yea, the beat and rhythm i played yesterday for the Chicken was wrong guys! *sorry* i showed it to my Drum teacher today.. he gave me a shelling on listenning properly. I don't think i can play the jazz rock style the actual drummer played. mammoth triplets used yo! yea, i'll improvise anyways=)

Anyways, Meet (the band without a name...yet!)

Have a Nice Day

Come Not Cum

Good Day

I always find myself holding back laughter/ a wide grin everytime i see a message from Maureen going something like this;

"Remember to cum for SS ah..."
or "How cum?"

For some reason it just sounds....wrong.
Although i'm sure the intention is different just maybe she's trying to type faster or maybe she's not supposed to be msn-ing in office. Heh! so she probably tries to msg as fast as possible. Maybe?

But she's not the reason why i've got this issue with 'cum'.

Let me describe to you a typical response i get from my college mates. Observe how common everyday innocent remarks are turned on their heads.

For Example; the following are questions i would say, and the responses i would get are in italics below it.

"I'm Hungry"
-"Wanna eat Cum?"

"What are we gonna eat?"
-"Cum"

"That car is nice!"
-"lets cum on it"

"That Girl has nice hair"
-"You wanna cum on it?"

"What flavour is that"
-"Cum flavour....Yummmm!"

Occasionally along with the suggestions to eating cum, a certain someone does offer to take off his belt to prove his point.Very Disturbing indeed.

But the most classic of all examples of Cum talk has got to come out of Soo. he should get an award or somethin for being the most perverted innocent looking guy around. Behold, the classic Soo response;

"I'm Cold..."
Soo: "...Want me to spray hot cum on you?"

Somethin i was just thinking about. Welcome to Metro=)

Remember Cum to Metro for a Quality Education..

Did i say cum? I meant Come.

Have A Nice Day.
It's Easter Sunday.
This is a very inapropriate post for Easter Sunday.

It's HIS story...

Thousands of years ago on this very day was crucified a Man, history and humanity will always remember.

A Man who is unarguably the greatest person to ever live.

A Man who's teaching's and wisdom go far beyond the test of time

A Man who was humiliated and crucified by the very people he came to save.

A Man beyond sin and blameless in everyway.

A Man who showed more love then anyone could ever imagine.

A Man who above all else choose to sacrfice his own life.

A Man who hung and died on the cross for You & Me.

A Man who's name was Jesus.

The one person who has never let me down. Never left me neither has he ever forsaken me. Although I may run, I may hide, or even choose to walk away from you yet you never left. You always stood that waiting with your arms wide open for me to return. All the times I have let you down, yet you forgave. Even when i don't feel you near or when i feel forsaken, i know that you're still there guiding me along. For my future and life is nothin but for you.

Thank You Jesus
You laid aside your majesty,
Gave up everything for me,
suffered at the hands of those you have created,
You took all my guilt and shame,
When you died and rose again,
Now today you reign in Heaven and earth exalted...
Have a Nice Day people. It's Good Friday.
-Notice it always rains on Good Friday?

Sticks that make you bleed...

Good Day,

Legal Framework 100 is done and dusted with. For some reason it really seems like a huge burden off my shoulders when i really just shouldn't be feeling that way. Econs is next week and 2 assignments are due next week. I should hit the panic button... I really should. But for some reason its just not happening.

Doesn't this seem like a very good reason to smoke?

NO!! Of course not!

Since when has smoking been the answer to all your woes? Or alchohol for that matter? If smoking is the answer why does 10 Million cigarettes get sold every minute around the world? Is this because each and everyone of us face a problem ever so often? Maybe we do, but is it worth it? Is the temporary high worth the minutes each puff takes from our lives?

The great thing about the smoking craze is that despite the rising campaigns against smoking, 80 000 to 100 000 youths start smoking every day. Half of these numbers are from Asia. We know for a fact smoking will eventually kill you. We know for a fact the detrimental effects it has on us. We know for a fact cigarettes aren't cheap for a reason. We certainly don't lack the education required to warn us from picking up the habit. So why are we youths still opting to join in on the statistics?

I once asked a friend why he picked up smoking in the first place despite the the warnings plain for all to see. He casually answered, 'When you're about to take that first puff, your mind blocks out these things..'.

Honestly i'm puzzled. Do we really smoke because we want a quick fix from our problems? Or do we seek solace in knowing we belong.

Insecurities?

Despite everything bad that MTV potrays, they too voiced their concern over these cancer sticks. Enjoy Now. Pay Later.

Have a nice day.

* If You're offended in anyway. I'm not sorry. It's somethin i feel strongly about. Smoking is bad. Period
** I do not direct this at anyone neither am I putting down/descriminating/accusing/ indicating anything. Friends, ya'll still are to me=)

Today...

Today, Kirsty tried to kill ME!!

Econs tutorial had ended for the day and we were gonna face a four hour break. It was a typically sluggish trudge to asia cafe from metropolitan when i spotted a very familiar blue Honda City coming down the road. Being the typical nut job, i started to stand straight up like a pole by the side of the road and stretch my right hand out with a thumbs up indicating 'I WANNA HITCH A RIDE!'.

The Blue City obviously thought otherwise...

Swerving directly to the left a mere feet away forced me to jump to the side to avoid a somewhat undesired outcome. *&^%$#@!

I was left traumatized.

I'm tired and Legal Framework 100 is up tmrw. I should get some rest before hitting the books feeling somewhat drained. Hmmm...or maybe i'll just call Shu-Wen=)

Comments in Passing:
*To Danker: Livon the Starbucks BARRISTA girl is 22. Adrian has her phone number.
** To Marc: ....whats with the aussie twang?

Have a nice day people.

A Little Nostalgia

I packed my bags and turned to leave at about 7 today. Night was slowly setting in with neon glow of lights joining in the night scenery of ss15. It was this sight standing amidst the brightly lit shops beneath a darkening sky that really evoked great memories of a time not too long ago. A few months ago to be exact.

I remembered how Josh, John, Patrick(?), and I used to study in the Taylor's library till it closed before we trotted of to dinner on occasions. I remembered how we used to stare across from the library to the bright neon sign board of The Web and say how fast the year would be coming to an end and how sad that our taylor's life would come to an end. It was really a year i didn't want to end at that point in time.

One of the lasting memories i'll forever carry is i had my first ever birthday surprise by a group of classmates i had barely known then. Starting from the moment Aaron took me for a rather long walk around the old block to so called talk about Kwee's 'problems'..at tht time he was still all about...A. He got a call and said teacher was fuming. Got back to class and i was pleasantly surprised. I remember getting a nice gift from Fai and Jessie too. That was real nice. The fact that it was the first time i actually had a group of ppl celebrate my birthday in that manner was really really touching (seriously! it was!).

I remember our eating out sessions, from dim sum to BKT to Khunthai. It was all really great. The convoys to wherever and whenever. Skipping Econs for Dim Sum was one of them. How we walked half way round ss15 for French Toast to Pork noodles.

The time John and I brought CY to AYA was one of the best priceless moments i'll ever have. How the guy was traumatized for an entire week. Singing 'No turning back..No turning back..' It was an experience.

Walking into K3 at the start of the year i thought what a big snob Josh was. Grunts and groans with funny stares was my first impression of him. But what a great friend he turned out to be. First impressions definitely let me down for this guy goes down as one of the most down to earth all round nice guys you'll ever meet with an appetite of a cow=) My place is no longer the same since knowing Josh and the k3 lot.

I still think back of it as the greatest year of my teenage life. Stepping into the K3 as strangers we all left as friends. And that is one thing that i hold dear to me although we may no longer be that closed knit group we once were I still cherish each one of you (not forgetting Kirsty the unofficial k3-ian). You guys mean allot to me.

Have a nice day people.
