Thou Shalt Not Lie

The first round of the LG Campus Challenge between KBU and Metropolitan College goes to... Metropolitan College with its two contestants, Sean and yours truly.

Now, allow me to walk you through the entire thing and in the process bore the living crap out of your holidaying arses=)

Armed with tummy full of 2 curry puff's from a mamak within the complexes which housed HELP college, we each set out for the basketball court of the campus to meet the camera crew, directors, and producers.

After signing our souls over to the crew in which we were supposed to bear the cost of our camera man as well with meagre RM20 tht we had to cover our transportation. Oh well, All's well turns out we had Kevin tagging along as our cameraman. This guy could possibly pass off as a thug, with tattoo's covering almost every inch of his arms, and (i don't know what kinda locks those are but...) a hairdo wrapped up. This guy was awesome, big time slacker and was fun to have around cause he really loosened up the atmosphere for us.

Trudging along after we got our cut to start running, we...

Why don't you watch the show yourself?

Anyways, my main point today, is Thou Shalt Not Lie. Something i did, and did it rather well. These stuff are meant to enhance the show, but it was just wrong. period. I told our competitors tht the clue was waaaaaay back at the end of the park. And they bought the idea and went. That bought us some time, but it really to an extent left a bad taste in my mouth in particular.

But hey, the highlight was that we realised that there really kind people out there. Most of them UNSURPRISINGLY were GUYS! This is a fact. We managed to hitch two kind hearted souls to our destinations cause we were really that broke. To the last guy we wished to remain annonymous just cause you were skipping work;) Your mom will be proud of you. If only we could have caught all the rubbish you said in the car. Seriously, the guy in the white jeep was the bomb man. he talks loads of shit and is a damn funny guy.

Anyways, thats all for today we played with the latest DFSK (can't spell tht gibberish...sorry) phone and oh yess LG's Chocolate. didn't really like that much. The touch screen is waaaaaaaaaaay too sensitive.

It was fun, best i've ever had. but i so need to workout from now on. Can't be relyig on my teammate to wheel my bike up again=) Thanks Sean!

Btw, check out the new toy we won from LG:

Note to self: Stop being an ass and just compete without misleading others. *sigh*

wake up and smell the nothingness

Oh yes, it's that point in time again.
The time we've been craving for all year long.

Oh yes, it's time.
The time your brain really just stops working and productivity equals a big fat zero.

Oh Joy..
shoot me, but i'm already wishing i was back studying.
Really, i feel weird if i'm not getting anything done. Maybe i should do something really stupid to kick off this unproductive period. Just to humor myself.

Then again, ..maybe not.

Dear Daddy..

For everything that you have given to me,
For everything that i have become.
For all the sweat, pain, and tears i may never fully repay,
For all the believe you have shown in me.
For all the personal dreams you gave up just to see me realise mine,
For all those dreams I wish you could live through me.
For all that you have thought me,
For all that that has made me the person that i am.
For all the perseverence with me that you have shown,
For all that is me you have had to painfully endure.
For all the worries in making sure i don't stray,
For all the freedom you still managed to accord.
For all the love you have shown to me,
For all of you that is God's way of blessing the family you have raised.
For all the many other great things you are that are just too numerous to list,
For all of this, Happy Fathers Day.

Riding on the cable car.

I watched Tokyo Drift today, and to me it was a great improvement from 2Fast 2Furious which was a considerable let down in respect to the initial hit. But again, it is your typical car movie, typical 'i-just-want-a-normal-life-guy' who gets tangled up so deep he has to fight his way out through...yes, you guessed it. Racing. Fast cars and girls make up the remainder of the plot. Oh and the guy gets the girl as well.

Surprise, surprise.

I did however like a line early in the movie which did get me thinking on the drive home. It went somewhere along the lines of:

"..See Barbie and ken there? They're gonna walk right outta here cause their parents are too well connected.."

That says allot about society, the monster we all took turns to nurture doesn't it? Guilty or not? that depends how deep your cable runs. This inevitably leads to cries of foul by the lesser connected folk which make up our vast majority.

We often find ourself saying stuff like "if he's daddy wasn't a somebody, he'd be just another nobody." True don't you think?

But stop and think if we were in those shoes. If you were a somebody and you are a dad. You know you can give your kid the best and one of those 'best' happen to be your network of the who's who.

My point is, we're all self centered. We gripe because we don't have that priviledge. We ostricize does who have such priviledges. But seriously, would you still be gripping if you were given such priviledge as well?

Maybe...

But, it's late... And the brain has just been emptied after the finals.

Happy Birthday Shu-Wen

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHU-WEN!
My baby is 19 years old=)

Greetings to you...

Lets talk about greeting cards, birthday cards, get well cards, and the likes.

First things first, greeting cards are fast becoming as expensive as the gift itself with a card costing 20 bucks just seems really out of placed considering the paper and material wouldn't have cost them anything more then a dollar at most.

So if material used in cards do not justify its price then i suppose the cost lies in the creativity involved in giving 'life' to the card.

Or possibly giving it that 'hallmark' moment.

But really, there really isn't anything you haven't heard of being written on cards these days. Its beginning to seem like reruns of the same thing but maybe in a different colour? or maybe with a cute-sy bear in front or maybe a female/male in a rather suggestive pose to spice up an otherwise stale card.

But point is, it's getting really hard to understand what cards are coming to these days. I'm not complaining about it only know because Shu-Wen's birthday is round the corner. It's just... its somethin to ponder about. right?

Anyways, a Sean like me felt that cards need some freshening up and he personally thought of his own 'hallmark moment' when you flip open the card. It goes somethin like this..

'the thought of you makes me wet my pants almost instantly,
with you around, i STAND strong,
be by myside, i dont like the limpness i go through whenever you're gone'
The perfect 'inside the card message'...
Really, Have A Nice Day

When Wor(l)d's Collide

This hadn't occured to me until supersara pointed out to me that i had spelt 'diarrhea' wrongly. Which had initially sounded funny to me as i thought i had learnt it with an 'O'. However, as the years progressed, my subsequently spelling deteriorated. I began to use my phone dictionary function in the sms feature to verify if my spelling was right. So happened 1 of the words checked using this method was 'diarrhea'.

This method obviously has its flaws.

So, I thought if someone were to point it out to me, and Supersara of all people you'd usually think you're wrong. Besides, Shu-Wen had also spelt it with an 'O' when i asked her while typing out the previous entry.

Interestingly, when checked on www.dictionary.com the results were:

di·ar·rhe·a
also di·ar·rhoe·a - (d-r) n.
Excessive and frequent evacuation of watery feces, usually indicating gastrointestinal distress or disorder.

Means the word diarrhea is spelt D-i-a-r-r-h-e-a.

Right?

Have A Nice day

This is a very random post..

Things in the news lately..
Let me introduce you to specimen #1.

He tried to rape me in Law lecture. This friend did initially try to approach me in a rather subtle way by requesting politely to be 'blown'. But being a faithful boyfriend and clearly aware of my sexual preferences, i turned him down.

Things got bad from then on, He became rather forceful.

grabbing my legs and forcing himself on me. Thankfully i'm not damsel in distress material and this i pushed him away. Being one to think fast i quickly grabbed my phone to grab a picture of this sexually persistent offender.

The image which appeared on my screen was disturbing.

Honestly, wouldn't you be scared if confronted with a person like tht? Therefore i strongly urge all parents to keep their daughters at home. Beware for my severely demented friend is seriously dangerous. Being a friend, i know.

Let me introduce you to specimen #2

This poor soul was drunk on the most intoxicating drink ever created. A drink filled with unbelievable amounts of stimulants which depending on the consumer may induce various forms of side effects. These side effects include hallucination, proclamation of death, and suicidal notions. Below is a victim of this drink. The victim merely took 2 sips before collapsing on the table. such is the strength of the drink. This drink is...

...Milo.

The victim: Chee Kin with the intoxicating drink.

Poor guy, never stood a chance against this cruel drink package innocently with a swimmer in front. An apparent gimmick to entice the homosexual society.. (..)

Notice the difference between a consumer of Bacardi (L), a perfectly harmless drink to the milo consumer. Marc the Bacardi consumer politely asks Chee Kin the Milo drinker if he wants to eat in this picture.

In unrelated events, Sean has this message for Shu-Wen after his attempts to rape me were botched.

Keeping true to my randomness, i think i'll try blogging about food next..
Then again, better not in case i get diarrhea.

Have A Nice Day
