The End and The Beginning

Today signified the end of my studies in Metropolitan College. It hasn't really sunk in yet, but i'm pretty sure it won't be free pretty when it actually does. For i've never thought i might miss it but i guess its true that everything happens for a reason.

I'm beginning to resign to the fact that if this is the path i'm on then there really is something for me to learn here. Looking back, God has yet to shortchange me thus far and i doubt he'll ever will.

The things i've gone through over the years, sure there were times when things were exactly smooth flowing but it sure served to teach me something new.

I'm now really optimistic what else is in store for me. Good times or bad, i know it'll build me one way or the other.

*****
And so i handed my Law paper in at 5:45pm. The last paper of my semester and first year. I was just so relieved that nothing really matter. I didn't give much thought about the fact that it was my ast paper, i just wanted to nurse my aching right hand.
2 hours straight of writting is no joke especially when it comes to law. Contract Law!
I guess i've been so preoccupied with next week. Can't wait really. I'm not sure if i'll maintain the same enthusiasm when i actually start work but i sure hope i do.
Tomorrow should mark the first day of Cross Advertisement's journey to the Battle Of The Bands. Tomorrow we jam for the very first time with our new lineup=)
Things are looking up.
Good Times.
Have A Nice Day.

121106

It's been 2 years.

I still remember those mornings, in our uniforms having breakfast.
How we used to talk innocently about probably the most random issues.

How our relationship slowly buded.
Just as often depeicted on the silver screens of innocent young couples..

How we've grown in such a short span of time.
So much has changed around us.

...Yet, so little has changed between us.

We still love the sound of our voices on the phone whether an ocean parts us or not.
To the joy and intimacy of sharing the things closest to our heart.

We still laugh at each other's jokes (..rather my lame ones).
We still sing to each others heart no matter where we are.

Yet we still argue over the smallest detail.

But above all else, we still love each other just the same way we did clinging to the phone into the wee hours of the morning 2 years ago.

The Impossible Mission..

Never would i have thought that i would say this when i first entered college but really, this are things are things i'd really miss in Metropolitan.

No wonder people stay longer in Metro, its the freedom you don't usually get in an education institution. The ability to do stupid outrageous things and be recognized for it.

Btw, i was hitting a pewter cup given by Taylor's college which at the end of this faithful production was mercilessly scarred. Oh well..

Memories!

Have A Nice Day.

F.E.A.R

Okay, maybe i tilted towards the extreme today.

I guess i was in the moment, whereby i was all hyped up gung-ho about my dreams that i started thinking drastic measures. Funnily enough, i can acctually think up such drastic measures. Scary eh?

I should start reading the book 'Dare To Fail' now, cause i'm beginning to think thats my biggest fear. The Fear of Failing.

But talk and thought is cheap.

..Somehow i don't wanna trust entirely, but unable to shoulder it all. To be able to be in control yet yield all to you..

I Need God=)

Have A Good Night.

Band For Hire!

Hello.

Marc pointed out earlier that after this video appeared on Ee May's blog, viewership of this video soared. I guess we couldn't thank her more for the publicity.

I guess i too should post the video? Somewhat of an advertisement for the band. Hmmm.. That sounds good. BAND FOR HIRE!! Anyways, on with things.

The following video was taken by Timothy Danker using his trusty N90 at our last performance during Metroball.

Cross Advertisement(L-R): Jared, Nadia, Joe, Marc, and Sean

Now that you've watched it. What do you think?

Honestly we felt we we're sloppy but at least we enjoyed ourselves. More importantly however is we've gained invaluable experience from all this. I know these are really overdue, but.. its never too late for some shameless self/band advertisement!

With a new lineup and still rather sadly without a lead singer, i am however rather optimistic cause at the end of it all, this is all about seizing the day aint it?

Every last cent..

Greetings!

It's kinda late and my body is beginning to show signs that 3+ hours of sleep within the span of 48 isn't good at all. Very lethargic and my movements seems to be somewhat contradictory to what my brain is saying.

Interestingly, my brain feels pretty much awake. But i suppose thts normal, else i'd be dead. right?

So after attempting to study in Kemuning before adjourning to Klang for supper and more studying severely backfired and turned into a scare fest and finaly turning up in college after no more then 1 hour of sleep. I felt rather good actually, ahh.. the wonders of a power nap.

The studying bit yesterday was completely ineffective. What should have taken us no more then an hour to complete turned out to be a massive 8 hour work. Oh yea, how cool is that? While we didn't gain much on the study front, we did have heaps of fun. From Sean reminiscing about his childhood bu pulling out his old toys and all to us scaring the crap out of ourselves.

It started when the Esso mamak decided to turn on Saw the movie on its big screen projector right where we we're sitting and eating. You can tell it aint fun watching somebody getting brutally severed and stuff while you're eating.

That sparked of the horor movie topic. led by Nick who seems very innocently interested to marco who seems to be very into the whole scary movie thing. Damn.. and those that know me, we'll know i never ever watch horor movies. I watched Hostel holding the remote control with my finger on the stop button!

Once back in Sean's place, we continued the whole scaring shit. I was a dumb idea, cause then we started getting wierd imaginations and all.

Horor movies are not cool. Not fun. Not exciting. So never ever drag me into one! Good thing Shu-Wen shares this sentiment. Poor Sean! haha..

Anyways, after class today, i went to the golf warehouse sale down at the RSH warehouse in subang. I picked out Nike Golf apparels cause i was so blinded by the words 60% off. when i got to the counter and saw the bill.. Damn. I did get one good deal tho, I bought my dad an Etonic shoe for RM29!! how cool is that.. Just in his size. wanted to get the white colour model as well, but it was sold out.

I so need to work back that amount.

With that i went to work with Kwee (who once said, Keeping to the 'Right-est' lane was the the best way to be Righteous...) and Jen Han at Holiday Villa for an event management firm organising a Microsoft conference on Vista. Damn we packed somethin like 800 document packages? Slotting the sheets into place and collating them took a whooping 4 1/2 hours k! we finally ended our work at 1am earlier. Not much hard labour but it was fun nonetheless.

I'm getting quite intrigued by this whole event management thing. I seem to really be drawn to the whole late night hectic work conditions sorta thing. i guess, i'm just that kinda person, i need a dateline and i need a clear goal to be able to fully function. I need to be pressured cooked to be able to really work i figured.

But we'll see how long this idea will last. Might not be too long. One more event management related job coming right after my finals and then i'll see. Haha..

Haven't been to the gym in ages. I should go tomorrow. The thing is, i haven't been feeling very well. No Excuse anyways. Hopefully i can wake up on time before heading to marketing class.

I'm still looking for a singr for Cross Advertisement though. Amanda agreed to hop on board but the thing is, she'll be in London during the time of the audition and you can't replace your members after the auditions so its abit hard. We finally secured our lead guitarist and realy couldn't been happier. Should be good playing alongside Wei Luen again!

It was a good experience today. Come to think of, this past year have been nothing short of a great experience. Thank You Jesus=)

Have A Nice Day!

P.S. I realised whenever i go for an extended period without sleep i tend to get a bloated tummy and i fart like crazy. Allot of air.. Hmmm.
