When Wor(l)d's Collide

This hadn't occured to me until supersara pointed out to me that i had spelt 'diarrhea' wrongly. Which had initially sounded funny to me as i thought i had learnt it with an 'O'. However, as the years progressed, my subsequently spelling deteriorated. I began to use my phone dictionary function in the sms feature to verify if my spelling was right. So happened 1 of the words checked using this method was 'diarrhea'.

This method obviously has its flaws.

So, I thought if someone were to point it out to me, and Supersara of all people you'd usually think you're wrong. Besides, Shu-Wen had also spelt it with an 'O' when i asked her while typing out the previous entry.

Interestingly, when checked on www.dictionary.com the results were:

di·ar·rhe·a also di·ar·rhoe·a - (d-r) n.

Excessive and frequent evacuation of watery feces, usually indicating gastrointestinal distress or disorder.

Means the word diarrhea is spelt D-i-a-r-r-h-e-a.

Right?
