I watched Gubra yesterday!
By far and wide the best Malaysian made movie i've ever seen. Although the movie takes a less polished route from Sepet it came out tops in its own right. While we may not make movie like hollywood in terms of refinement, we sure do make them in depth.

What i really liked about the movie is how racial issues are addressed and society at large. Gubra spins off from the love story between 2 individuals that was Sepet to a love story of one another.

Really captivating if you ask me. And i highly reccomend buying the original vcd when its out=)
