The holidays end tonight.
Hello!
So its been ages since i've updated. But then again, i doubt i receive any readership here other then the occasional visit from the girlfriend=)
It's finally getting cold, the forecast for the next few days will be muggy. Good i suppose, i actually like this sorta weather.
Easter came and went. And so did Easter camp up at Ern Halliday in Hillary's. That was fantastic, and it provided a perfect opportunity to brave a trip despite the effects of a stomach flu. I was practically puking everything i ate.
But I kept to bread and light stuff, so it was all good. Camp was also the first time i played drums in Zion! And i realy enjoyed myself, despite making heaps of mistakes but it really did feel good.
I was so nervous when i got there, imagine being told what songs to play an hour before practice. And they played Time Has Come! arghhh!! I was a bundle of nervous going on the first run that i dropped my sticks twice. Drummers just don't do tht =/
But what i did was pray, I prayed that God would remind me and teach me that worship is never about how well or how bad i'm gonna play. Not even if i mesh well with the rest of the band cause at the end of the day, i can be playing like Dennis Chambers but without God it'll never be worship.
That prayer helped, I didn't feel so nervous and was able to just enjoy the whole experience.
Yay!
There are just so many things i wanna say but i just can't put them in words.
But things are going well now. Looking back just a couple of months i don't think i would have envisioned myself living the way i am now. Undeniably, I have everything i could ask for. I feel loved=)
Have A Nice Day.
