Very dark streets...
Hello!
I'm beginning to think what a dodgy place Perth can be at night. Then again, who am i to say since i've only been here for a week. But seriously, i just don't like the idea of people screaming over the top of their voices across the street or just staring at you or large groups of goth looking people congregating, or.. you get the picture.
Maybe its just the city being really deserted after 8 except if you're in Northbridge or the surrounding suburbs being really dark at night. It so different from back home where you get lights from all different directions. Then there are the horror stories of people being assaulted by aboriginals at night. Went out with Ben the other night and we got people just staring at us on the road. Now thts freaky.
Was in Carousel earlier with Shu-Wen and Brett. Somehow I don't get the hype behind the place. Maybe i haven't really walked into the shops to really look but i haven't really found stuff i like there. But it gets pretty dodgy at night as well when the busses are less frequent and the dodgy people start appearing on the street. Even Brett feels tht way so i'm not alone.
I might be overly paranoid. But.. right now, it just feels that way. I might start looking to get a car soon. Dad seems pretty reluctant but he has given the go ahead=) Thats a good sign, but it also means my expenditure will be on the rise. I'll prolly work to pay off petrol bills.
On the bright side, i've got a job and will be paid tmrw.

I can't really do much yet while still on Uni connection. cant really upload pictures. Will hope to do so soon.
