Step by step.
Its been awhile since i've updated this blog so i suppose i should. I've been wanting to for quite awhile now, its just tht connection hasn't been a very good.
Yesterday was Saturday.
No XYZ Super Saturday but it was a super Saturday in a way, met up Maureen, Esther and Mike in church before heading to the Curve for lunch/dinner at Sakae Sushi in which they bought me. I'm so happy=)
But it was more of a sharing time since i'm leaving so i did find myself letting out all my thoughts, grievances, doubts, and joys to these 3 pairs of ears more then anything else. Yes, how selfish of me but it was good cause its stuff which i've just stored inside me for quite a while. I'm pretty glad i let it all out, not too sure if it was easy listening but point is i was really encouraged and challenged by the stuff i got back from them. So thats always a good thing, now to work on them.
After church i headed home before proceeding to Vic Ye's for a brothers party. Tim and I had the most brilliant of ideas for a present. I'm proud, it's like we were teaching him good values! *sniff ..Responsibility. Kudos to us=)
Didn't stay long before we left for Sanctuary with Wai Chin and Alison. Was pretty nice there, i thought it would be like another bar thats why i went cause i seriously can't dance to save my life but it was still cool. Went to the ice bar downed a hypnotiq+smirnoff for the first time. It tasted like crap but it did wonders in the temperature. Other then tht, drinks were pretty much free since we gate crashed a birthday party. Thanks to Wai Chin for the invite. Till now i don't know who the birthday boy was.
And tht pretty much summed up my day.
But on another note, i realised something today through sermon and when i was doing my devotion. Ironically both were on the book of Nehemiah! So Gods at work here no?
It tied in so much with what i was talking with Maureen about this after that it makes me so ashamed that i can ever doubt God. But who are we to judge ourself unworthy? Just pick up the pieces and plough on.
Its not skills or talents, but heart and passion that makes the least of a man great.
Have A Nice Day.
