Come to Class Joe.
You know how one minute you're so pumped up over something the next momment you feel like a complete fool?
This is one of those times.
I really shouldn't feel that way if i were to put this in perspective but i feel i should have known better. So i got my Lancer, the car i set my eyes upon since i started looking for cars here in WA. I thought i'd take things slow and wait for the best deal, exhaust every possible avenue before committing. Sadly, naivety and anxiety took its toll.
So much for being composed in every dealing.
I took the car in to Unc. Kai today for another checkup on the radiator. Turns out it was functioning well and the apparent leak was just down to excessive coolant being pured into it. He pop and uncrewed a few stuff and found that the car was involved in an accident but the repair work was pretty well done. Filters, radiators, and a few other stuff we're new so no complaints there.
I felt pretty happy zipping along in it until i met John earlier did i uncover the truth behind my seller. Turns out he's a pretty shrewd car dealer himself. Pffft.. All that bullshit about wanting to recover some cost for his mom.
Feeling pretty bummed out now tho knowing that i could have possibly driven the price lower then what i got it for. But I realise thats what i don't have. A shrewed bargaining ability.
On the bright side, another lesson learnt.
But it just goes to show how much one can learn in such a short span of time. It's eye opening to see the way people go about conducting themselves and doing the things they do.
To some people, money does grow on trees just cause they know how to grow them. Others, well.. will just need to learn.
I, am one of those who needs to learn more.
The carefree lifestyle i currently lead needs to stop, I need to resolute myself to achieve more.
Whoever said education was free?
