Wake up and smell the Tulips..

Spring is officially here!

The flowers are in bloom, the weather should be taking a turn for the better, it shouldn't be raining so much, but it was hailing in Murdoch. Hmmmm..

Anyways the day after Malaysia's National Day a few of us namely from 3 different cell groups decided to make a 24KM trip down south to Araluen where the Tulips have come out in full bloom! Not that i'm a big fan of flowers but its just the novelty of it to visit the botanical gardens on the first day of spring which also makes this post pretty outdated. Oh well.. on with things.

So, after starting the day right with a nice greasy breakfast at Hungry Jacks we all headed down Albany Highway, 4 cars when down first and 2 later in the morning. Jaclyn drove my 'Lala Chai' noisy exhaust Honda Civic which is STILL FOR SALE!

Of course, Malaysians are prone to making a fool of themselves. Philip Metzger is a Malaysian!

Iris decided to be considerably in practical for a trip to the botanical gardens..
