Getting rooted in the book..

Greetings!

The weather's taken a pretty good turn, i was able to trot out in shorts and flip flops again. It was a good feeling. With exams beginning on Monday, i guess i can be excused for attempting to take in the little joys in my sorry pathetic state.

It's pretty horrid to have your face planted into books for much of the day and night. The non-movement makes it all the more colder (lucky for the gym, it represents my only reprieve). To add insult to injury, Brett's leaving on Tuesday morning. The morning i'm due to sit for my Construction paper! Sigh... My housemate is going back to Canada. Seriously i couldn't have asked for a better house/toilet (since we share an ensuite bathroom) mate. All the notion that whites are dirty, this farmboy is surprisingly tidy which means when inspection days come around we only need to wipe of dust from the counters! makes things so much easier. He'll be missed.

On an unrelated note, i finally watched the 'Pursuit of Happyness' after seeing the poster for it up in December last year. The movie didn't dissapoint one bit. Acctually, it was the best movie of the year so far.. The movie was just so inspiring and the acting was so moving it was fantastic. To know that the movie was actually a true story makes it all the more inspiring, to me the movie defined the word determination and hope

Oh well back to studying. I'm getting quite excited to go back already. But even more excited to see what the following semester holds.
