The second post of the day..

Guess how i spent my Merdeka eve while everybody was off counting down to the big day our esteemed nation turned 49?
Supporting Malaysian Theatere! Isn't that considered patriotic in a way?
Yes it is! So thats a plus point for me=)
My family and i decided to catch Broken Bridges at the Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre and how much we enjoyed it.
The KLPac itself was already a welcome reprieve from the new KL buildings. It's fusion of old and new architecture is pretty well in KL but it was nice nonetheless. Sadly the camera's flash had to break down and thus deprieving me of pictures.
The area surrounding the KLPac is also well designed and laid out which basically aids in the initial feel before you even set foot in the Hall. Kinda gives your spirits some 'lift' which may come in handy should audiences find performances below par.
Anyways, thts irrelevant.
The play in itself, was mesmerizing. Altho i thought some parts of the script lacked building up but it was well acted throughout. For the minor details the script lacked, the intensity of the actors more then compensated.
The music was great and well suited in my oppinion. But then again, i'm no big theater fan but when my dad, a complete non-arts fan thought it was really good and managed to stay awake and attentive throughout, you know it has to be pretty good.
Met Sean's 2 sisters and mom there as well su yin so thats a pretty cool thing.
But overall, i really enjoyed my merdeka eve, at least it had a measure of somethin artsy-fartsy. Somethin i think is seriously lacking in my day to day.
I figure this post is pretty dry, but heck. I'm really that bored. 2 Classes cancelled, didn't attend the other cause of practice for College Day on saturday and there you have it. A slow and unproductive day. Oh joy! And i'm stuck here till 6:15 for my drum class which should start late so make tht 6:30.
So much time, so little things to do. I do however have a Finance test on monday. But i'm just so demotivated to study cause i really can't seem seem to grasp the subject. Thats a bad excuse. I'll hit the books after this.
**I can't believe this, i'm actually blogging in the college computer lab. How sad is tht, not 1 post but 2 post in college! But i have Marco beside me, it's a welcome comic relief. ahhhh.. the mullet doing assignment. It's just really rare, he looks so focus!
I sound gay now.
Anyways, Have a Nice Day. Off to help Tim remove some flags=)
