Lunch, Tea, and Incomplete Movie

The holidays are almost up. And honestly, i couldn't come any later. More then a month of inactivity i can almost smell the stench of my rotting brain. Alright, now thats a little gross but i'm really in need of some form of academic responsibility to put right the shortcomings of my previous semester.

But heck, it's still the holidays and we'll not dwell any further on that.

Today has been good save for the fact i woke up at noon which subsequently spoilt my jogging at 7am start to the day. Anyways, since no one was home when i came down i decided to cook myself lunch. Baked beans and luncheon meat served with bread and cheese... How unimaginative. But it was good, for some reason i really love baked beans and luncheon meat and thus i'm not complaining. And i did have to do some cooking so i'm not completely incompetent in the kitchen which is another plus point for me.

Finished the cooking and settled in with 2 big mugs of earl grey's topped of with a movie while i eat. And the movie was good. The Devil Wears Prada.

Or well, it would be better if the cd didn't die on me towards the end leaving my story hanging. *&^^%$$#@#! The problem with pirated dvd's. Wait let me justify myself, i've been wanting to watch it and since its the holidays and the movie isn't out in theatres my impatience got the better of me. Ahh who am i trying to kid, i support pirated dvd's and i'm not alone! heh!

But seriously although the movie was all empowerment to females i did find it extremely entertaining. Not that you just had Anne Hathaway running around in nice clothes and doing things somewhat comedic, the story line is really good and to an extent... thought provoking. Now, if i only knew what happened in the end..

And i now wanna read the book. Yes, i do enjoy reading but i never seem to bring myself to buy books. I'm such a cheapskate. So, does anyone have the book and willing to lend it to me?
