Welcome to Accounts 100...
Good Day,
I'm not too sure why the other post aren't appearing. But basically i was rambling abt the orientation how i was about to switch RMIT melbourne cause Curtin 'screwed up'
But yea, Didn't screw up in the end they are still recognised by The Board.
Yay
I was 2 hours away from paying AUD 70 for a very last minute registration into RMIT thru Taylor's Placement Centre. In which i would have missed 2 weeks of classes should i have pushed thru. But i gave the Real Estate Board one last call to confirm if Curtin was still recognised...
Lo & Behold..
They said Yes!! and it was actually my mailed that confused them.
To Cut the long story short...No Melbourne for me! Perth it will be in 2007.
Along the way i did learn somethin..
Ms. Sukhminder is PREGNANT!!!
Remember IT teacher? yeap... tht one. Big tummy. Rumbling thingy inside as well..
Along with things..
'WELCOME TO ACCOUNTS LECTURE 100...'
Can you believe every lecture is 3 hours long? but still i'm pretty with my schdule. i've got a heavy monday till wednesday before thursday is completely free and Friday has only 1 lecture at 8 till 11. Oh and i have info systems this term..(Think Access)
Accounts lecture started off in a rather boring fashion. And it continued it that form for the rest of the duration. I'm not really in a position to compare just as yet since this is my first lecture..however i do feel the standard's here and Taylor's are a little far off. The one emphasis the lecturer kept throughout was 'it's really not tht hard to pass.., So if we work hard, i'm sure we can all pass right?'
Okay...
I'm not an accounts genius...but shouldn't we be aiming higher? Motivation might be apt in this instance. Anyways, a friend did point out a couple of ppl in the lecture hall whom he'd seen in the entering the same lecture for the 4 straight semester cause they kept failing? He even told of a person who kept failing till the lecturer pitied the poor guy and gave him the exact same paper for the mid semester...
surprise surprise!
....The Bloke Still Failed.
Wanna know a great thing about Metro? Photocopied books are reccomended!
Yes!
The lecturer actually asked us to get the photocopied books. Saying it's a waste of money to buy brand new ones. And yet during orientation we were told abt plagarism and what not.
Welcome to Metropolitan College
...Tmrw is a new day=)
